ABOUT THE ARTWORK
This work is inspired by the memory of scuba diving off the coast of Port Douglas, QLD, Australia. The work evokes the feeling of exploring the ocean floor, diving and swimming through reeds of seaweed, finding coral, fish and sea creatures amongst the deepest blues, aqua and green waters. Feelings of pushing and pulling yourself through the water.
The abstract lines, drips and soft brush strokes reflect the oceans serenity, mystery and tranquility.
