ABOUT THE WORK
"Tracey no 2" is an ode to the acclaimed British artist Tracey Emin. Researching my subjects and adding intentional words to the canvas are essential to my art. This becomes the basis for my work and then subliminal female shapes are worked over the top. This abstract piece is inspired by Tracey’s performance piece “Exorcism of the last painting I ever made” in 1996.
